Gwinnett County is hiring — and is looking for people to join its growing team during its annual Career From Here hiring event.
The hiring event will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Gas South Convention Center, located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
Job seekers can network with departments and agencies that operate within Gwinnett, have their resume reviewed and apply for open positions in fields like public safety, court and legal services, finance and more.
“It takes a diverse and talented workforce to provide the services that keep our county running,” said Human Resources Director Adrienne McAllister. “We’re excited to meet with candidates and discuss how the County can be part of their long-term career goals.”
Business casual attire is recommended. County officials encourage attendees to bring copies of their resume.

On Sunday, it was time for our clocks to "spring forward," lessening the night's sleep by one hour. While it may not seem too significant, Daylight Saving Time can definitely throw everyone for a loop. How do you handle it?
