The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly agreed to terms with Las Vegas Raiders receiver Mack Hollins.
The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly added to their receivers room in a big way - literally.
According to CBS Sports, the Falcons have signed former Las Vegas Raiders wideout Mack Hollins to a one-year contract.
The 6-4, 221-pound Hollins is coming off a career year in which he caught 57 passes for 690 yards and four touchdowns while earning captain status.
A fourth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, Hollins has also spent time with the Miami Dolphins. Across 82 career games (24 starts), Hollins has 113 receptions for 1,440 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Hollins can also impact the game via special teams, owning 24 career tackles, 11 of which came in 2021 with the Dolphins; the ability to be a multi-phase player is important to Falcons coach Arthur Smith in the roster cutdown phase.
Apart from missing the entirety of the 2018 season with a groin injury, Hollins has played in every game during his five professional seasons - and brings a starting pedigree that could prove valuable opposite of record-setting rookie Drake London.
The 29-year-old Hollins is the second receiver in as many years to go from Las Vegas to Atlanta, as Bryan Edwards was acquired by the Falcons last May - but he was ultimately caught midway through the season after a disappointing tenure.
Now, the Falcons will hope to avoid deja vu ... and add a starter in the process.
